Finding dignity in a place where they call us immigrants
Alea continues to showcase what her debut album titled Alborotá will be, as well as the visual and conceptual universe behind each song, her style, sounds, and influences.
"Échale Sal" is a song about immigration and the unique flavor that each person brings to everyday difficulties. It refers to our traditions, knowledge, and customs that are the seasoning, the 'salt' that makes us unique and that becomes the engine of conglomerates such as New York, Medellin, or Bogota.
"This song is very special to me, it has a lot of soul... It reminds me of everything we have done to survive and find dignity in a place where they call us immigrants," said Alea.
